February Releases?

Looks like you can preorder week 3 WD as it is order from 8/2/14 and released 15/2/14. The list is consistent with the release pics I have seen.

I saw this model at the Newbury war game show last year, it's a nice big size and brilliantly sculpted.

Gandalf on a dragon. I know it isn't but it looks like the Khazad Dum pose. Nice link Paul and these are worth considering for the future.

Well we now know for certain that there won't be any new Hobbit releases in February. The earliest any of us will have any shiny new toys in our hands now will be March 8th :-(

So it looks like the title of this thread a misnomer. not the first time it happened though and not altogether surprising. I still need those Gundabad Orc however - how am I supposed to get nicely themed heavy infantry into my Angmar and Dol Guldur lists without them?

I would certainly hope not unless there are actually some news and/or rumours. We all know the models that have been shown in the DOS book and that are due for release, this thread is pure wish-listing rather than actual News or Rumours. I really hope that when a March releases thread pops up it's because on Monday evening the leaked release list reveals that there will be some Hobbit stuff up for pre-order on Saturday 1st.

I wonder if the lack of releases (despite them very limited in number) is because of the weekly format.

Could it be that they're holding them until they have something else to release, and therefore have enough content to make a weekly magazine out of it?

Hmm you might be onto something there. I know it's been done before but what do we definitely know is going to be released?

and at some stage you'd have to lock in Bolg foot and mounted.

There is a chance they may be waiting to release a lot of content at once and only have 2 or 3 Hobbit release dates for the rest of the year. I for one preferred having 1 to 3 new releases each month but I can certainly see your point happening.

We don't know for sure that any of those will be released. They have shown painted minis before in the rule book that haven't ever been released.

I think (hope I'm wrong) that we might not see any more minis till December.

Not from the hobbit they haven't.

Thorins company in finecast from the auj rule book says hi, although I do hope they are released at some stage
