Well, based on december WD i can confirm the names of the final 3 ringwraiths, and they are

The Betrayer
The Knight of Umbar
The Dwimmerlaik

And based on what the article says their models are either done, or are not far off completion, my guess is they will appear in LotR APOC, maybe?

The source is kairous from over on Warseer - I haven't read the new WD yet so I'm taking his word on it.

So much for making the final 3 Nazgul nameless I guess!

While that's interesting, I kind of liked having some of the wraiths stay nameless.
Well, let's see what GW can come up with now. They're running out of special rules. Maybe a wraith that doesn't lose will for being in combat? Maybe a flying wraith? Not like I'd like that, but I don't think it's too far off from GW's "Creativity."

I just don't understand why they wouldn't go ahead and put these in the Mordor sourcebook that was just released. That way, the book would remain a one-stop reference for any Mordor army. It's not like GW hasn't released a profile long before the miniature was ever made available.

Oh well...More toys.

Well the more sourcbooks they relase with diffrent minis even if they are in the same fraction then the more money they make  it's just good business   8)

They might come out with the next Dol guldur supp. werewolves....black hearted tree?

.

They couldn't come up with those awesomely creative and deeply researched names in time. :(

"The Dwimmorlaik"? So what is this, a King of the Eotheod that was given one of the Nine Rings? Come ON! Do they even KNOW that's just the Rohirric name for ghost or spirit?

And the Knight of Umbar? Seriously? At least the other names were like some kind of almost-cool epithet instead of a title.

I can't see any reference to an extra 3 named ringwraiths in the December White Dwarf. I does include the rules for the 4 new ringwraiths from the Mordor supplement though.

<edit>Just read the article properly and the 3 other Ringwraiths are mentioned. Sorry </edit>

And you base this on three lines of text?

Going on the Subject, HERE is a pitifully small Nazgul Tactica.

I preferred it when they were nameles (except the Witch King and Khamul). The new minis are sort of OK (and would be good for a fantasy game that's not LotR) but I prefer the older ones that match the films.

Well, thankfully, GW still provides a generic Ringwraith profile that I think is perfect for depicting the period when the "Black Riders" rode forth in search of "Bagginssssss..."

Agreed. I can almost see the "named" ones for a time when Sauron was at his peak of power, but after his fall and the centuries that followed up to the destruction of the OR the nameless ones ( +WK +Khamul ) are the most appropriate.

Just browsing through the GW website, took alook at the White Dwarf section, look what it says for the next issue, " The Black Riders of Mordor - New rules and scenarios for The Nine, the terrifying Ringwraiths of Sauron" that could be interesting :-D

@dan369, its actually the White Dwarf that is about to be replaced (December 2008 in the UK) it has the rules for the new RW's from the Morder supplement, no new rules and a couple of scenarios.

I only like the Shadow lord, and even the the armour is overdoing it.
Anyway, why is games workshop allowed to make up rubbish about how they became wraiths and all that, when they don't have text evidence to support it? :x :x :x Especially that Devlan Mud about THE TAINTED who was apparently evil from the start.....It's all a load of MALE BOVINE DROPPINGS
and needs to be gotten rid of. :-X :-X
And another thing, why does that Undying guy have a staff when in the movie they only have swords?
I better shut up, I'm getting so frustrated over such a small thing
