I just tried to order Groblog from an online supplier, only to be told the figure is unavailable and being withdrawn in light of forthcoming new releases from The Hobbit movie... |

Hm, that's strange. The figure is still on the GW site: http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catal ... od1460129a, but I don't know if it's possible to order it though. It would be a shame if it was discontinued, as it's a really nice model. |

Personally I never liked it, it always reminded me of planet of the apes, and i thought it to be very impractical vis a vis of the whole line of sight thing, what with the whole towering above everyone aspect. Opinion of the model aside I always die a bit inside when GW pull a model oop. |

Also, I noticed that Durburz the goblin king of moria, is now just the 'Goblin king of moria', it still says durburz in the description, once, but it looks like they might have jsut forgotten to delete it? Maybe it's beacuse they don't want to have durburz, groblog, azog, and whatever that other goblin in the hobbit is.....  Four goblin kings on the table at once anyone?

I think I read somewhere that some LotR minis are becoming direct only (or whatever the things you can only buy online are called) so this could be happening to Groblog - as far as I'm aware online stockists don't stock direct only minis, which would mean they won't have Groblog in stock. |

Not that this helps in the UK but..., Games Plus in Mt. Prospect, IL has some blisters left. And some other Metal Blisters too. Their LOTR/WOTR stock is not big and dwindling as we speak. They are looking forward to the new releases! Maybe they will mail order them to you? I dunno, just thought I'd throw that out there. |
