After watching the video which contained The hobbit January releases I couldn't stop thinkin' about the background buildings on the video. If my eyes don't deceive me I think they looked casted. If one looks closely at the details they do look like they're casted. But now I can't find the video anymore :x

You're not alone with this rumour, however there is yet to be any official confirmation, but it is still under the radar!

They do have the hallmarks of kits or casts, rather tan scratch built stuff - stuff like the ropes and details aren't made out of household items like string, etc. also, a couple of mould-lines seem to be in effect in some parts of the video.

Here's hoping - I'd buy several.

Me too. Guess they would sell like butter for several game systems :)

Imagine some Erebor terrain. Perhaps a longshot but there's always a hope :P

I really hope so, as some one mentioned previously they would could be adapted for great Bree scenery. It's a great video, but not enough action :-D

I'd definitely pay for some Laketown scenery. GW's combined with Thormarillion's, a few touch ups and additions (barrels, bots and fishing nets would make a great table.

Thomarillion's stuff is nice, but I find it's a just a hair too small in scale.

Looks like Lake Town scenery is on the cards, which is great. You can clearly see moulding lines not full trimmed on the sides of the walk ways.

Those are almost definitely plastic. I guess I'm going to be broke. Does anyone still play Mordheim? They're going to be broke too.

I'll get one if the price is right. Might make up a few myself and leave them loose to be used for other buildings on land

It would be very nice indeed. I was tempted in the past to buy some Warhammer Fantasy buildings, but with all the skulls they really do not fit Middle-Earth. I would definately buy this kit if it comes out.

I wonder if these were meant to be part of the second box...back when it was only two movies, Lake Town would have been in the second...

I am not convinced, I think it's a hanging lamp on a post, the rope looks to thin for plastic production.

link for thormarillion??
I am fully convinced, the wood looks that of efgt so they have obviousl had that design made previously in anticipation and they can cast fine lines such as that on the oil lamps as ou can see with the efgt extension packs, shorly they must have added there own little (not for sale) parts to give it extra authenticity but i still belive these will become available...

I'll be interested to see them though fear what price they may be... but they will give me inspiration and ideas for scratchbuilding...
