February Releases?

So what will we get with the february releases? The Gundabad orcs? And in plastic or finecast? The other Bard model or some new poses for Thorin's company?

I really hope we get the bear. Also really looking forward to a new Bolg model, but yeah i agree really can wait for Gundabad orcs either.

The bear's the most important thing for me, he factors into my tournament plans for February/March...

With White Dwarf changing format and Forgeworld being sort of merged into the GW offering (I think I read that somewhere), it'll be an interesting month I hope!

Really hoping for the Bear model and it would be amazing to get the long awaited FC Thorins company.

But my money's on another Gandalf! :shock:

Finecast Thorin's company, new Bolg, and the bear would be nice.

I'd say Bolg will be much later on in the year, given the Azog delay.

Personally I'm more of a fan of the old Bolg sculpt (hence I bought one about a week ago) so I'm hoping for Gundabad Orcs for sure. I want some more evil to finally be released

Ditto. Evil needs some love. The range is very thin right now.

I dont think Thorins co. will ever be released, especially seeing as they are now in new attire in the movies..!

For goodness sake give us some decent evil stuff. Something bulkier than a hunter orc but not identical to an Uruk Hai :roll:

Looking at the clips in DOS and a production video as well I think... the Gundabad orcs are on par with Uruks?

They seemed quite large and menacing...so hopefully they will get released.

Just going by what we saw on screen, the releases from DOS bar duplicate foot characters like Gandalf/company could include;

- Bolg (2.0)
- Bolg on warg
- Legolas on horse
- Beorn as a bear!!!!!
- Bards Kids
- Necromancer in spirit/shade from
- Men of Dale/lake town with one of those balistai (Think gondors avenger bolt thrower)
- Ruin/scenery sets of lake town or Erebor
- Re-release of the original thorins company models as one box set
- Thorins company/bilbo on ponies

So we may have to wait until next year until we get any major troop types...which is upsetting.

I don't see men of Dale on the Wind-lance or Bards kids, I don't see them as unusable game pieces

I'm hoping for a mounted Narzug.

Bard's kids don't have any rules, I seriously doubt it.

Yeah I just meant what they could possibly stretch too just going from the film without making their own characters or troops.

I mean they did the master and his servant (and although I don't know their rules) they seem pretty low in terms of a combat troop.

YES. The old Bolg sculpt is in my top ten models period. I have not done yet, but I own 3 in package with the name BOLG on there for when they re name it Gundabad General. Im hoping it will be a collector in the future.

But yeah, amazing sculpt and we need more evil.

The biggest thing of the month for me, is seeing if they will screw us and put Gundabad orcs in 3 packs like lake town. If they dont, I plan on buying like 3 boxes or so. If they come in 3 packs, they dont get a dime.

Other than that, I dont care. I wont get much new stuff. But some new characters would be cool.

I still haven't anywhere near caught up after a few months' break. I really would like some "Fine"cast or whatever Dwarves! Fili's pose for one leaves much to be desired, and I'm not too fond of the plastics really. I've just done Thorin and for such an important character, he really could use some more detail!

Anyway, I reckon we'll see a mounted Legolas, Beorn in bear form and some Gundabad Orcs and then not much else until December.

I'm hoping Thorin's Company in a plastic box set so I don't have to buy EFGT. Also Bolg foot and mounted, Legolas with Orcrist mounted.

Also does Bolg's special rule where he gets more powerful as he kills more models not seem like it'd suit Azog more? Or just the Gundabad General.
