sometimes (i dont know if anyone else has had this experience) but for me the washes often dry very patchy which isn't what I want. I dont know if its Aussieland's hot weather or something, but using normal paints to create washes seems like a more viable option if you want top-looking models. In fact Haldir_pl wrote:

That might have changed since he said that...but just take a look at the guy's WIP thread...then drool at the awesome painting
I think I'm going to conduct some tests and see if I can equal GW's wash formulation.
