I am going to paint some army of the dead soldiers soon, I found them for a good price second handed, but I checked the painting guide here and it uses "Green Ink". I checked this paint at GW but it seems not available now.

What colours do you suggest to use instead of that Green Ink to give the dead that greenish ghostly look?

Check the Shades on GW websites , and perhaps Glazes for example : biel-tan green , way watcher green , coelia green shade , athonian camoshade OR just get some lahmian medium and make a wash of your own :)

(sorry old paint name) - Camo Green and plenty of water is a great wash.

I'd recommend a dark wash (as mentioned above) such as Biel-tan green and some strong highlights to give more of a ghostly glow with maybe Elysian or Nurgling green, maybe some osl effects coming from inside the model would be cool

I've used Thraka/Beil-Tan Green over a white undercoat followed by dry brushing to paint army of the dead in the past.

If its any good to you, you can still get the old versions of GW paints, green ink included: http://www.blackhat.co.uk/online_shop/i ... p?cPath=21 ...and the paint lasts for years in those old pots.
