Hello, I am a bit new around here. Lots of stuff in this forum so finding resources is difficult. I am wondering if anybody knows of any tutorial or guide on making display boards either on this site or an external link?? Any help would be appreciated, thanks a lot

Hi and welcome to the site! You're asking a pretty broad question and there's no real right or wrong answer as there are so many different ways to achieve so many different things! Have a look through the WIP section and try searching the forums for 'display board' etc. that might turn up a few things. I know Mertall has done some nice display boards in the past if you look through his WIP but there are many, many more There have been some really nice entries into the diorama challenge so if you have a look through these threads (and maybe at the entrants WIP threads) you might also get some tips: viewtopic.php?f=96&t=29059 viewtopic.php?f=96&t=27295 I've only ever made one (see pic below) and I documented it fairly well, if you're interested then check out page 12 of my WIP below, in three separate posts I go through building the house, the trees and the board itself in some detail: viewtopic.php?f=50&t=25596&start=220  I hope that's of some use, looking forward to seeing what you come up with! |

I've done a few display boards, more dioramas on a big scale and I'm currently working on one. If you have any questions I can help though there are many others on here that know their stuff. |
