Hey One-Ring community, it's been a while since I've been here, but as soon as i returned I remembered the great atmosphere and advice given on this forum

Returning to the hobby, my friends and I want to play a Battle Companies campaign, and i have taken it upon myself to write the beast. However, I am a little dry in terms of ideas at the moment. I was wondering if anyone could help me out with some storyline?

The battle companies will be of Mordor, Easterling and Harad (and possibly Gondor, but we'll leave it out for now).

Anyway, I hope I didn't bore any of you and if you could help me at all, I would appreciate it quite a bit

i've got a little plotline going, but nothing properly tangible. I figured since I am working with 3 evil races that there will be some kind of inter-alliance feud or perhaps three rival bands of raiders predating the war of the ring?

anyhow, these are just rough ideas and i still need a little help.

Well you're asking for help over the Christmas period when people are usually quite busy but you might get more assisstance if you tell us the storyline you have in mind at the moment and we can help you develop it rather than leaving us to think something original up for you. It's your campaign, people are going to be reluctant to do the work for you especially when they don't have much to go on.

yeah i see where you're coming from king elessar, and you're right.

at the time of posting i had very little knowledge in the way of the tolkien universe, however in the time between then and now i have read up on basically everything xD

i have written the entire campaign, and will be posting the whole thing (storyline, battles, results etc.) up soon hopefully
