Well, as promised, Barukshathur the Great Eagle had his first outing today - and LOVED IT!

Awesome report thanks for sharing!

I really dig your paint scheme with some of the subtle conversions throughout.

Nice use of the Tomb King Icon for you dwarven standard ;)

That eagle HAS to suffer in the shoot phase, no matter how you position it it'll still be in line of sight to every archer on the board.

There was plenty to do, eagle never went close to his archers. Plus we are both very generous with our lines of sight and assume that the eagle is flying and not permanently in that fully outstretched pose!

It's the gamezone model, well, one of three. The other two are waiting for bases, assembly and paint! Do a search for "gamezone eagle" and I'm sure you'll see the other poses too.

I did note in the rules that line of sight refers to the body so we are generous about where the body is and don't count the wings. The other models are closer to the ground.
