I thought maybe that would be a cool fight..... It would easily be a tough one for both sides. You could do: 700 pts Witch King modified+3 wraiths on fell beasts vs Radagast on Eagle 5-6 eagles or something......idk. |

I think the wraiths would win, monstrous mounts and all that. Sap radagasts will then kill all the eagles. |

I did wraths vs eagles as part of the battle of the black gate. The wraths just ripped the eagles to pieces. |

I kinda figured. I wasn't sure if the wraiths will would outlast the eagles numbers and fight if the players were of equal talent. Any suggestions on how to balance it? Gwahir and all eagles vs less wraiths? |

Warband 1 6/12 Radagast the Brown riding Great Eagle 6 Great Eagles vs ---- Warband 1 0/12 The Witch-king of Angmar with armoured Fell beast; Crown of Morgul; Morgul blade; 3 Extra Might; 6 Extra Will; 3 Extra Fate; ---- Warband 2 0/12 The Knight of Umbar with Fell Beast; ---- Warband 3 0/12 The Undying with Fell Beast; ---- Warband 4 0/12 The Dwimmerlaik with Fell Beast; 750pts a piece. it would all come down to if the eagles could get the charge before getting magic'd to death. Or you can go Gwaihir and 7 great eagles and give the witch king either his flail or an extra point of will. |

I never played this match, but I don't think that the eagles would have any chance. If you want to play it, you definitely need some special rules. Maybe you could give them the ability to get a charging bonus or resistant to magic. Otherwise they will be transfixed and killed. I would also suggest you to not take the named ones apart from the witch king. |

Yeah I wouldnt take named ones. My thought is basically any turn the eagles win priority they can charge extra guys onto a single wraith and likely win a combat somewhere and rend for a kill. If you do Gwahir and eagles you literally have double the models but I see how its very tough. Maybe give them all resistant to magic since its the last part of the battle. |
