I used to paint my minifigs, then watch the movies with my minifigs next to me, like they were watching too...

I would say that's a little wierd if it weren't for the fact that I did that with my LotR action figures.

Anyone else wondering why with this many painter collectors the GW hasn't kept releasing models over the past year? Might be fallacy of small samples but clearly the market is still alive and well.

yea. my theory is alot of 40k and fantasy player thinks Lotr is dead when actually most lotr collectors buy them just to paint and not game publicly.

Indeed. specially at ebay there is a lot of people spending "a lot of money" on LOTR mini's. GW is stupid......realy stupid. Ebay, amazon etc etc LOTR is not dead.. at all!

That's because LOTR figures can be bought just to look at, while Warhammer and fordykay are just tools for a game :twisted: .
