New Dunedain.
An Arnor elite (Royal Bodyguard?)
Aranarth, the son & heir to King Arvedui of Arnor and the first Dunedain Chieftain.
King Earnur (the Gondor general who marched to Fornost to drive out the Witch King, was chosen by Gondor as its next King when the old King died, and who walked into Minas Morgul alone to challenge the Witch King to single combat).
Young Aragorn in Haradrim garb, representing his travels through Gondor and Harad.

Some Elite Numenorians, please, even if it was basically guard of the fountain court with numenorian heads. Some way to represent Numenorians Squires, possibly a "Gladden fields" Isildur?
Just no more dwarves please.

I would love to be able to purchase a plastic kit of High Elves, they could just say that they are rivendell soldiers or the knights on foot ...

Also Glorfindel mounted with his armor.
Gil-galad Mounted
Lindir Mounted
Erestor Mounted (That would be so cool if he could have a horse!)
Extra bits and kits of weapons for each army so they could outfit their guys however they see fit.
Replace the old Uruk-hai kit with another one that includes crossbows. (I think 3 Shields, 3 Crossbows, and 4 Pikes would be pretty cool even if it was kept at 10.)

Mainly would like a High Elven update or revamp though!

i would like to see some more variations between the high elves and numenrorian figures,(some of them are all in the same poses) new plastic moria goblin poses, some MG prowlers with bows and others with shields. And of course a stone giant.

I want to see Bombur in his true form (double axed barrel-man) made in to a model.

I second Sid's suggestion - Battle Barrel Bombur is a must-have.

1. Of all the blooming Gandalf poses we've had...not one with fireworks!
Missed a trick there GW!

2. I remember seeing this image of Aragorn in Rohan gear.

http://www.thelastalliance.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=5985

And wondering if it was a proper release for aaaaggggeeeessss

I guess not.

3. Rangers firing from horseback would be cool.

I always hoped for a 'flee from Osgiliath' set that included a mounted wraith, mounted rangers, ruins etc. like the film.

I don't know if it has been said before but I really want to see a miniature of PJ eating a carrot in Bree. Because the cameo in DOS was just epic.

This is the image from FotR:
http://www.framecaplib.com/lotrlib/html ... tr0417.htm
And there was PJ the warrior of Rohan defending Helm's Deep in TTT...
http://www.framecaplib.com/lotrlib/html ... tt1390.htm
And there was PJ the Corsair bosun in RotK (the victim of errant shooting by one Legolas of Mirkwood)
http://www.framecaplib.com/lotrlib/html ... tk1295.htm
And if you watched VERY carefully, he is back in Bree at the start of DOS - coming out of a building as Thorin arrives at the Prancing Pony
And those were PJ's pugs running around Laketown...

Quite so UKFB, great sculpt! I just think they should put a Carrot eating PJ in one of those in a "Limited edition" starter sets (If they are going to make a new one)

:P

Thats a joke, right?

I know the chance of us not having more dwarves is about as likely as a Numenor supplement being done, but the thing is, they already have more heros and warriors then any other faction bar Mordor, and that was before the hobbit when the only dwarves in the film were Gimli and some kings.

That's not even near true. Before The Hobbit they had 5 troops now they have 7. Gondor has 6+ all the fiefdoms (all these will be off the top of my head as I'm at work on break so I have no books on me), Moria has 9+, Isengard 7+ and Rohan 5+, just to name a few. And that's with two separate Dwarf factions rolled into one, if I did the same with men or elves it'd be even more lop-sided.

As for heroes Pre-Hobbit Dwarves had 11 Heroes I believe, High Elves had 11 that I can think of as well, so they're hardly more numerous there either. Obviously The Hobbit has added 17 Dwarf heroes but again it's a separate faction from Durin's Folk. And currently has only 2 Troop options

Must admit most of the ,in my area use them so I tend to see different parts of them. I was thinking more in a post hobbit sense mainly though, as by then I can't really think who else other then maybe the dark dwarves they would do

The next film is going to be chock full of Iron Hill Dwarves, and new units and variations of the existing Dwarves of Erebor (Thorins Company, maybe an Erebor Wind Lance etc).

Saying "please no more Dwarves" right before the 3rd Hobbit film (full of Dwarves) is as absurd as saying "please no more Rohan" right before the Return of the King and the Battle of the Pelennor Fields.

Well, you didn't specify "post Hobbit" in your original comment.

Why not just encourage your local players and opponents to take up a second army so your meta can become a little more varied? Encourage them to start a Hunter Orcs army, or go even further back and consider armies like Rohan, Mordor, Harad and Gondor.
