Without wishing to be pedantic 1"=2.54cm (to three significant figures).

I started using cm when I first started playing but disliked the way GW decided how to round up/down. Changed to the imperial units and haven't looked back since.

Kalatha: I was merely basing it on what a chartered surveyor friend of mine had told me over on CDO ;) Regardless, it wasn't an important point on this scale, but randomly changing inches into twice as many centimetres is stupid. Not to mention, other than banners, most things are in pairs anyway, so you wouldn't get half of a centimetre coming into it often (unless you play dwarves).

Also, 2.51cm is equivalent to an inch, but 2.5cm is close enough ;)

I thought it was 2.54 cm.

General Elessar, please see my above post ;)

It's also possible that I simply remembered it incorrectly.

Regardless, I've admitted I am likely wrong (with two members saying so, I likely am), so let's go back to the measuring discussion ;)

Not a problem, it seems to happen to us all at one time or another ;) As does making a small mistake of .4cm :D

Inches all the way for me. I'm too long in the tooth for change. Funny thing though, at work I always use metric and I was taught in metric at school.
