hehe I reckon Dwarf only sourcebook would sell pretty well! ... poor guys would prob fall off the wargs quite a bit tho lol

Well, there'd be a lot of stuff they could add, like a chariot, special rules for warhammers, more heroes, other spears than VWs, other siege weapons etc.

yeh I was only kidding ... Dwarves generally have a huge following in wargaming of all kinds and they are pretty awesome and characterful in lotr :) I like my Dwarf army but im one of those guys that basically collects all armys ! hehe

Think I have to go with Moria on this one, it was a toss up between Durin's Folk or Moria: Moria get Balrogs, Trolls, Dragons (all the fun stuff) and Durin's Folk has Dwarves

Well I love Mordor because it has Gothmog, the bset character in the book, despite the fact he'sonly in one line, and it has trolls and wargs, and all manner of creatures, and I like Dol Guldor with it's Werewolves and Giant Spiders, which is part of Mordor.

However, I also love the miriad of monsters in Moria, the spooky Spirits and brutal Barbarians in Angmar, and the Haradrim have Mumakil, and wear cool colours, and then the Easterlings are just cool top to bottom.

In the end I chose Mordor because I count it as two lists; Mordor and Dol Guldor.a

forgive my ignorance im just going by the sourcebooks .. but there dont seem to be barbarians in angmar or werewolves in mordor? is this more from the books etc?

The Shire because when I think of the LOTR I think of Hobbits. :frodo: :sam: :merry: :pippin: The Evil armies are all very powerful it would be hard to choose :roll:

The Barbarians in Angmar is from WotR.

The Werewolves in a Mordor mini-list called Dol Guldor is from the old SBG rules; Legions of Middle-earth. In WotR they are in Angmar instead.

Also, it is from the books.

ahh right yeh the fall ofthe necomancer book ? cool I do have most of the older books but I seem to be mainly looking at the new ones these days, there are some great things in the old books though like scenery making/painting etc I think I nearly have them all

The Werewolves never actually made the final cut and get into the Fall of the Necromancer sourcebook, they planned to do so, but agve up, so they don't actually have any official SBG rules at the moment. They may be released after the Hobbit. Fingers crossed.

looking forward to the Hobbit hopefully more local gamers will want to get into lotr! .. and im gonna want to buy prob everything they bring out lol .. although prices are going a bit crazy so hopefully by then it wont have risen too much if at all

isnt Gulavar a Vampire?

You may have to take out a morgage if you want to collect them all.

And yes, Gulavhar is a vampire, born in the First Age whwn Morgoth was still around. Though Gully is made up by GW, there were vampires,so we do actually have a model of one.
