So I just got my order from FRP games, and it has to be up there in the record books for the greatest LotR bargains!

I got all of this for ~$11, including shipping (which is $6.50 or something).

The 90% sale section of FRP is amazing! Whenever a metal LotR model becomes last in stock they sometimes throw it into the 75% or 90% off section.

How do you browse what they have available? All of their GW products are called just that - GW product. No pics I can understand but not even having a name?
Do you have to call them to see what they have in stock?

I should have mentioned earlier, but when you click on a GW product, it says the name at the very top, above the menu bar (file, edit, view, etc). So what I do is go to where Lord of the Rings should be, then I click and look at the top.

To order yes you do need to call though

Man. Australia gets pooped on so hard. We don't have any of these places which give discounts (more than $2), we have to basically pay 2x more than the USA, even though our dollar is basically the equivalent. What a joke. Good find for you though!

Not sure if I can top it, but I once made a good deal. The WOTR rulebook, the Dwimmerlaik, Khamul and the Betrayer, all on foot and mounted, the Witchking and 14 easterling kataprakts for 70 euro, he would bring it to me. And now the best part : so we met and he proposed that for 90 euro in total I could get another 21 Mahud warriors, 6 Mahud raiders, Mahud chieftain on foot and Mounted, Sulandan, Dalamir, 2 Watchers of Karna, Halftroll, and 4 good heroes.

I believe 39 metals for 20euro really is a bargain :p

Once got a sprue of Elves/Númenóreans and Moria Goblins (as well as some simple white dice) for entering (just that, not even winning or anything) a painting competition at a GW store years ago. To enter, you just had to bring a painted Fellowship model.
It may not be much (although 'worth' quite some money these days), but it was completely free! Doesn't get much better than that.

A friend of mine gave me a mumak, loads of old plastics, some paints, paint brush and mom troll last year out of the blue.
The models were severely punished when I got them, so I just converted most of them.

Well I got three 3x3 boxes of models from ebay from a guy who knew nothing about them or the worth and didn't know what was in them either so when they arrived I didn't know what to expect then I opened them and there was a full fort,scenery paints ect then 2 mumaks new in box 2treb bnib 2mordor catapults bnib and loads of finecast easterlings ect and in total 75 boxes, 30 blister and sandwich bags full of plastics, that is quite hard to top imho apart from lotr hunters deal<jealous can't describe how I feel.
