I never really liked the idea of Radagast's sleigh turning him into a big combat machine. I view Radagast as more of a pacifist who fights his enemies through an indirect manner. I wanted him to be able to outrun warg riders which is why I made him faster. I was also very much inspired by this conversion in the link below and wish to make one similar:

Radagast with Sleigh SPECIAL RULES:

Rhosgobel Rabbits: To dismount Radagast one must kill 3/4 of his rabbits. Each have 1 wound with a defence of 4. His movement is 12"/30cm. Otherwise, Radagast acts as a normal cavalry figure.

Points: 20

Woodland Creature.

What do you guys think?

I think for your purposes it should just be a 4W cavalry model, otherwise its over complicated IMO

Like a 4 wound mount? so attacks can still go against Radman but most will hit the rodent sleigh type of thing?

Yep that's the idea. I don't think its overly complicated. Its a 4 wound cavalry model that can go through difficult terrain and is 2" faster than normal cavalry.

But are you splitting the wounds? Because if you are then there's the double strikes with trapping to consider. Also randomization of bow shots etc. With the initial post it seemed as though you're treating the sleigh as 4 separate characters (the rabbits) that must be killed to destroy the sleigh. This is very different from treating the sleigh as a 4 wound, single model.

I still play with pre-warband rules so I may be a bit out of touch with the most up to date rules but I have been playing like this:

When shooting a mount, one a 1,2,3 it hits the horse/rabbits and 4,5,6 it hits the rider/radagast.

When winning combat, the winner may choose to strike the rabbit or the rider.

But yes, it may be easier to just treat it as a 4Wound mount.
