I stumbled over this the other day: http://silmarillionproject.tumblr.com/ I find it lovely and I really likes his aproach to the Silmarillion. And ofcourse it is very different from previous incarnations which I find nice. Well I should stop writing...go check the project!  NOTE! It is not my project. I just thought I should share it with you. (Is this the right section for this kind of post?) |

I really love it. I don't especially like this style of "cute" animation, and while the sketches are not my kind of thing, the actual chapter illustrations themselves are really great. Excellent colour choices and composition. |

Quite nice. Wouldn't kill anyone to depict a woman in comic/fantasy with non supermodel proportions every now and then, but that's another thread. |

Interesting images - though there is a bit of Sinister Disney about some of them. |
