Yeah, same here, thats why I shave em down and Mod them *Heavily* (ripping out the air-restrictors ,putting in new springs, putting weights in the darts,etc.. ALL of my guns definitely exceed the "out-of-the-box" brethern)

That'd be sweet mate, you should.Oh,about the pictures,I only had just read that part so sorry about the delay.I'll try to get some up today(but it might a little difficult to do because I keep the "shells" and "outsides" of my guns anyways)at the very least I can get up some pictures of the spray painted ones. (I actually had a nerf sambuca built to fire the green nerf balls but being that it was just a miniature potato cannon it never saw much action, maybe I should make one that uses pressurized are instead..hmmm)

Or maybe it's programmed into the site's code that the word B-@zooka is changed to 'I am an idiot'. :-D  (I added the dash because now if you do it with just the @ symbol it says this 'b@zooka'.

Here's my AK-47 i talked about by the way, thought I would just pop up a quick photo. It's two tone, for in the UK all guns without a license must be otherwise it's illegal.. so it kinda sucks that wise. But don't be misled, it hurts a lot! I've been a witness many times. Spent around 200 quid on the gun, and I'm going to upgrade the springs so it's better. At the moment it's going around 400 FPS with 0.25 bbs.
The mag has a cap of 800 bbs and the gun is a fully automatic blowback series (uses excess air from the cylander to shoot the pellet further) It's also all metal apart from the stalk so it's quite a weight.

That's a pretty sweet looking gun. Ak-47's seem to be popular, especially where I live. Just a few questions about it though.

1. Is the gearbox metal? Our first guns that we got had plastic gearboxes, and they didn't last very long at all. Looking at the price of it, I would assume the gearbox is metal, but you never know.

2. What's it's rate of fire?

3. Is the wood part real wood, or is that metal, or plastic?

I played a few games last week in a knew area that had millions of thorns, and several hidden wholes. I got a bunch of scratches and several bruises, but I still was able to hit quite a few people.

Yeah a few of my mates have AK's, but I'd say that the M4 guns are more popular where I am. Yep the gearbox is metal, which was one of the main reasons I got it. I'm thinking about upgrading it though. It goes just under 400 fps and it's just fake wood. Looks a bit unrealistic, but I'm hoping once it wears a bit it'll look better. The skirmishes are good fun, and yes you do get a few scratches and bruises from time to time. I know what you mean by the thorn kind of things, we've got a patch of that somewhere too. Trod right into the stuff. Hvae you guys built a barricades and all? We've got half a dozen and a fort to do defend/capture etc...

Post subject:  Re: Airsoft

no, we don't have any forts or barricades, but we do use this old cellar as a bunker though. It's got a window and an stairs on the side the lead to the top(it's not very far down, just about six to ten feet under ground) where there's an opening which is the entrance. We use it for defense games where we have a couple people in the cellar, and the rest are attacking. It can be quite painful in the cellar because of all of the bb's bouncing all of the place, and several time we've gotten into very close quarter fights there. It's quite fun though, at least to me it is. I've never been in the cellar when we got into the close quarter stuff, but most of my friends have and absolutely hate going in there now  .

Has anyone been to a lasertag event? I've never tried it & found a reasonably cheap place up where I am. Anyone tell me what it's like if anyone has experienced it.

Holy Devlan Mud Drumstick where do you play that allows you to use a gun that hot :o??!! Everywhere I play enforces a strict limit of 350 fps on .2g bb's for AEG's.

I'm not a fan of UKARA or the VCRA at all. People see it as a "license" when in fact it's very simple, if you are over 18 and are a member of an reinactment group, skirmish site or are a film/TV company then you are excempt from the rules applying to the purchase/use of Realistic Imitation Firearms. I'm thankful that we were given a defence, but it sucks that anyone unwilling to go through the UKARA system gets such a hard time. I personally only buy second hand guns to restore, very cheap and very enjoyable. So I never need to bother with UKARA.

Will.

Hey mate, nice to see you around. Hehe, well the fact is we don't really. It's not a proper skirmish place, just a bunch of friends who meet up every month or so for a game. There is normally around 8 of us, but recently we've joined up with another group of people who do just the same as us. So around 15+ of us now. I'm afraid I'm not 18 yet, or have a UKARA liscense lol. What kind of guns have you got by the way and where do you guys go?

P.S How is the casting or mould stuff coming along?

Post subject:  Re: Airsoft

I mostly play at Gunman Airsoft at their reinactment events, mostly 'Nam.

My current gun collection is:

- Upgraded JG MG36
- Custom Mod 0 SPR, built from all sorts - more accurate than an upgraded TM M14
- Upgraded King Arms SVD Dragunov with real steel PSO scope.
- Upgraded TM MP5 A3 with CA B&T full metal body.
- Upgraded JLS FN2000
- TM M16 VN
- TM Super 90
- TM Desert Eagle .50
- WE HiCapa 3.8
- Modified JG VZ61 Skorpion

Gear wise I have:

- 1969 Air Cavalry loadout
- Current Navy SEALs Vessel Boarding Search and Siezure loadout
- Russian VDV Recon marksman's loadout circa 1992

Yes. I like to dress up :D! I don't take it very seriously though, I don't want to be a solider and never will want to be. I just like shotting my mates with toy guns.
