I've been listening to the new Deftones, I think it's one of their best cds - which is saying something for being around as long as they have. Other than that I listen to Tool, Rage Against the Machine (and One Day As A Lion), Clutch, Queens of the Stone Age, Soundgarden, Saul Williams, Led Zeppelin, Bon Iver and ISIS (with tons of other little-known post-rock/metal bands). |

@Longbottom Leaf: have you heard the new Arcade Fire yet? I've enjoyed the first album a lot, the second was good but not as interesting IMHO, so I'm not sure if I should pick up this one... |

If you like a deep bass electro sound then look for Portishead and their album Dummy - Simply fantastic. Enjoying Elbow at present though my likes are somewhat ecclectic, ranging from Clannad to Marilyn Manson... |

I can't stand that stuff ^^ Yes they do go hand in hand, and I think the explanation is that both modellers and heavy metal listeners are minorities, which are often regarded as strange people. I don't mind being strange though, I'm loving every second of it.^^ Rueben |
