Hey, I'm interested to see what everyone's favorite part of the hobby is. I'm sure this has been done before, but a quick search didn't come up with anything, so away we go.

List your top one, and your second one out of the five categories. I will try to update the list regularly. *edit, added gaming*

Results:
Top:
Painting XXXXXXXXXXX (11)
sculpting X
terrain building XXXX
collecting XXX
gaming XXX

Second:
Painting XXXXXX (6)
sculpting XX
terrain building XXX
collecting XXXX
gaming XXXXXX (6)

Only since recently though; the sheer thought of converting a model used to fill me with dread but I've really been bitten by the sculpting bug :)

My converting is not the same as sculpting, and taht is not one of the listed options, nor is gaming.

For me it is :

1. painting
2. gaming
3. collecting & converting.

Surely this would be better as a poll?

For me it's the cutting out of sprues and glueing. Great stuff.

There certainly is something special about cutting models out of a fresh sprue, such a great feeling... 8)

I concur with the above. Along with painting the rims on the bases nad finishing placing rass, it is one of the real highlights.

Yes, it would be easier, but then it would have been hard to define between your top and second favorite...

And I agree, there is somethihng special about cutting new figures off the sprue, as well as putting the finishing touches on them.
