Hi all, As part of my 'i'm freaking out about turning 30' thing i have going on at the mo, i have decided to get my rubbish tattoo on my foot covered up with something nicer. It's also got me thinking about finally getting a LOTRs one. Do you have any to show me? I want something girly, im thinking a quote, except i cant decide on my fave one?!

I am pretty much covered in tattoos. I have this Lotr tattoo on my forearm. had ots of work done since this picture was taken.  |

i got a tattoo, but its not LOTR inspired..did get it in New Zealand by a Maori Artist...does that count?

Yes, course! Love it! I have some really horrid symbols on my left foot (cringe) which im getting covered up next weekend. I might brave a before/after when they are done. |

I have an east gate of moria tattoo on my left arm, next im getting Pedo melon a mino underneath and dont know after that. Looking for other examples of cool lotr artwork, thinking about either the white tree of gondor or possinbly some sort Morgoth and fingolfin show down scene, now that would be awsome! |

Not yet, but I'm getting a Summoning logo tat later in the year hopefully which is tangentially LotR related. I'm pretty tempted to get something in the black speech, too, written in runes. |

Fab idea's! I really want a quote, but cant decide my favourite. I do love 'one does not simply walk in to Mordor' but i would rather have a more meaningful one. Mine is not directly LotR related. It's an old viking design, so you could say it's kind of Rohan-ish... well, that's kind of far-fetched, I admit.  Medieval Finns were not vikings, but they traded a lot with the Swedish ones. The image is based on a cloak brooch found near where my parents live. -- Pasi |

I havn't got any LOTR tattoo's. but I do have a Final Fantasy 7 one (with the planet being the planet Twinsun from the video game Little Big Adventure) and a Zelda tattoo.

Thank you! I have finally had the one on my foot finished (well, I say it's finished but they are so addictive I fear it may not be...) so the next one I am getting will be on my right foot and it's going to be a LOTRs one and say 'not all those who wander are lost' |

Let's dig this up! I got a Tolkein tattoo about a month ago on a visit to London to see my girlfriend. Gets a little deformed when I lift my arm up and twist to take a picture and it's a lot smaller than it looks because I have to get the camera so close to focus on it all.  *Edit* The bit where I stick out is my ribs not my beer belly!!
