Hey all, as I'm painting up my Morannon Orcs I've come to the realization that I don't know what colour to paint their flesh. For Moria Goblins I've done various shades of pallid green. For Mordor Orcs, I'm doing them all a pale ash-grey. Mordor Uruks and Fighting Uruk-hai are blue-black and dark reddish-brown, respectively. What looks good on Morannons though?

I've never painted them but I'd say do something similar to your Mordor orcs because they both come from the same area, Morannons are just more elite and armoured

I tend to jump all over the color wheel when it comes to my orcs...my uruk-hai I tend to stick with the selection you've chosen. Here is a couple photos for reference...hope they help. :)
Looks like greys, greens, browns, blues and so on...

These reference pics show it perfectly, as you can see Morannon orcs have almost human undertones to their flesh.
I painted mine with overtones of reds and greens but based their faces as i would any man, elf or dwarf model, i made each of mine a little different, now when they are all put together they look awesome!
I found these models a pleasure to paint personally, enjoy them

I chose four main flesh tones for mine (can't remember the others)

Light Brown:
Basecoat the flesh with Balor Brown (Snakebite Leather).
Highlight the flesh with a mix of Balor Brown and Rakarth Flesh (Deheb Stone).
Green:
Basecoat the flesh with Castellan Green (Catachan Green).
Highlight the flesh with a mix of Castellan Green and Elysian Green (Camo Green).
Pale Grey:
Basecoat the flesh with Dawnstone (Codex Grey).
Highlight the flesh with a mix of Dawnstone and White Scar (Skull White).
Pinky Brown (couldn't think of another way to describe it):
Basecoat the flesh with Doombull Brown (Dark Flesh).
Highlight the flesh with a mix of Doombull Brown and Rakarth Flesh (Deheb Stone).

I've got pictures here:

Hope this helps
