Hi all,
It's been a while since I posted here, but I've been gradually getting into the hobby more now that the school term is over.

I have a strange Warrior of Minas Tirith bowman - I've never seen the pose in photo or in person anywhere else. He's bending over backwards to shoot his bow, as though he's taking partial shelter behind a fortress' crenelation. It seems strange that a plastic set would have this one unique character. I was wondering if anyone else has seen this guy before or knows anything about it. Thanks!

PS - forgive the paint job, it must have been 5 years or more since I did that!

Do you own the model? Was he like that when you removed him from the sprue, or did you get him from someone else?

It is a rather strange pose, maybe a miscast. Did you do any conversions on your models before, and may have forgotten? Maybe you just trod on him or he got crushed in the box. I trod on one of my models once, and the body bent like that, but not as much as in yours.

Looks like a plastic miscast where the sprue didn't fill correctly when being filled, in this case the center of the model.

I have a second hand gondor archer in the same posistion as your but mine is bending fowards rather then back. I presumed it was a conversion but seeing yours now it might be a miscast.

Wow I've never seen a miscast plastic model. It's still a cool pose anyways.

First miscast I've ever seen. Enjoy the fact you're the only person in the world that owns this model haha. :D
