I have a dweller in the dark that repeatedly breaks at both his ankles yay finecast.

Anyway, besides super glue and green stuff, is there any possible solution?

I know it will break in the future with even moderate handling the way Ive glued it now. Its at the weakest spots on the ankles.

Hi, I don't know how thick his ankles are but maybe you can try this: (I know that there is a word for it but I only know the German word "stiften") You make a hole inside both sides and glue a metal stick inside it. This should help you.

I will try to link a video if I find a good one.

The English word seems to be pinning.
Here's the video: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=-EL7VYvK0cI

Ah man I figured I get that response. I suck at that and its really impossible on his ankle....its too small to even fit something in it.

You could always do the equivalent of an ace bandage and wrap both legs to thicken them, do both the same and to the knees and it might not be too noticeable? Other than pinning I don't know what to suggest. Or do what Mars_2000 in his wip did and put some of the weight on the tail so it isn't all on the ankles.

Just thought of something along the lines of ace bandage, green stuff anklets and chains as if he broke free of being chained up. Also would give you more room for pinning.

Anything of just over a single mm thick can be pinned (and smaller too, but that requires some less widely accessible drills).
Simply the best way.. compare to bones in your own body. But then from metal, even better.

If you are afraid that you will damage your model with pinning then i would suggest dont do it until you have the right tools or experience with pinning and a model with that weight and height will need a deeper pinning.
Instead i can suggest one option, take your dweller to a jewelcrafter. Most likely he will have an electric mini drill that can drill surfaces less than a mm with ease. This tool has saved me countless minis that need repair :)

Thank you guys for all the help. Hopefully I can take enough information out of here to keep it alive.

You can pin spears and swords, so this guys ankle should be many times thicker than that, if it isn't then you can always pin it then sculpt over the top.

However you should be able to pin, just go get a pin vice and get the sizes you need, its not just one size drill bit.
