Do you think these Hasselfree orcs will fit in well with the GW ones?

If I like it I use it.I think I will dig out some of the old pig faced ones too. I even have a lot of these

I did them back in the day (Margaret Thatcher was PM), so the Airfix figure is mainly an armature for sculpting with Plasticine, fine mail done with tissue paper etc. I like having them in the Orc mass because they pad out the numbers, and they feel a little special to me when my boy uses them.  'Airfix' orcs with Southron for scale.  Field catapult; the two smaller orcs are Airfix.  A bunch of Morgul orcs. I tend to put all the really ugly ones in my Morgul army, the prettier ones go into the army of the Eye.  The Wargames Factory orcs, with Boromir for scale. Note that I cut out a bit from the waist of the two outer ones, otherwise they would have been too tall for my liking. The one with his arms in the air is as tall as I will have them. |

Now that I've had a good look at my Wargames Factory Orcs I've decided that they would be a better alternative Mordor Uruk Hai due to the height and helmets. I will still have to give them some proper clothes though but that won't be a problem. |

!970's orcs were little more than lumps of metal although I think I will clean up and repaint some of the old Archive figures.  |

I'm not a huge fan of the late 70's Orcs. I do like some of the early Ral Partha's but alas I don't have any of them anymore. @Angularity thanks for the photos. |

hm u guys seem to know alot about where to find orcs I really liked these guys from the hobbit animation http://lotr.ugo.com/images/animation//h ... bit_33.jpg Got an idea if there ever were figures produced of this animation? Caus i am really fond of it. |

I have a very few.The looked a bit like some of the animation from the later LOR animation. I don't remember any that looked like the still from the Hobbit.
