Or you could bend a bit of wire to shape then encase it in putty. A bit more skill required for that though |

You need to wait for your putty to harden a little before you work with it. The actual amount depends upon the amount of curvature and the thickness of the green stuff. I don't have a good estimate of time but it sounds like the putty hasn't had enough time to harden up enough to hold a shape. |
