Right, I have a substantial Far Harad Force at the moment but to be honest in my opinion the warriors look much better than the King, so i thought I would convert my own from one of my spare warriors.

The pose I have chosen is not one of the 3 on Gw's website, it the one with a shield tight to its body like the one with a bone as weapon, but this one has a spear and is thrusting outwards.

I found a picture of one on google, i do not take credit for it and it is not mine.

I have removed the spear carefully so he now just has an outstretched hand.

Any conversion ideas? I have a well stocked bits box and plenty of putty, just don't expect me to be doing anything golden demon standard.

What about holding a sword in his right hand and bending it to resemble him striking his sword against the shield. As the King he will be giving his troops the courage to fight and he will lead by example as all good leaders do.

Well I have given him a sword in his right hand as you suggested. It is at the moment just being held straight up, so Iwill probably try to put it into a better pose.

Thanks.

It's obviously down to yourself but I have never liked the pose with the sword arm forward and bent upwards above the head.
To me it looks a bit 'amatuerish' if that is the right expression. I like to see something a bit unusual.
Good luck and post a picture of your result.
