Would anyone be interested in me posting a tutorial on how to paint wood effect as seen here: 
They are actualy still a work in progress but it is a very simple technique that works very well. You do need a decant area to paint though, spear shafts etc i use a different technique for. |

Next time i get some more Elfs i will photograph each stage then. Im not so sure how well it would work on an Orc sheild or something where the wood grain is moulded in. I suppose the soloution there is to try it, now to find someone with an Orc shield or two going spare. |
