I'm starting a sculpt of WK, where he's attacking with a Morgul Blade but has his sword out as well. The problem is, I can't decide whether his sword should have the fire effect or not.
Opinions?

I used greenstuff to use fire. Its really fun to paint and adds some colour to the usual dark black silver model. |

The fire was just added by the movie, though it was by his magic that the catapult stones caught fire in the book. Whichever you think looks better. |

It depends on three things: - Do you feel up to sculpting and painting Fire (and OSL, if you want it to look really good)? I don't know how good you are, but I found it one of the most difficult things to paint. - Where do you want to place your Witch-King? Is he stalking Frodo throught the Shire? Then normal. Is he breaking down the Great Gates with his magic? Then add fire - What do you think would look best? Maybe you could just sculpt it normally and if you don't like it add the fire later on? |

He'll be defending Barad-dur from the siege of the Last Alliance. If I could draw anything more than pine trees, I'd show you the concept I've got in my mind - the one problem with it being that the picture's never shown his sword hand.
