Yet another brain picking question.....

I have been saving all my basing for last, so I could do it factory style. I've been considering using the self adhesive packs of tufts, there are some excellent selections out there.

For foot and mounted bases what size tuft would you recommend ?

2mm
4mm
6mm ??
