| Post subject: | PVA Super Glue or Plastic Glue? |
Hi, I am about to start assembling my plastic Ent and I don't have any Plastic Glue. Is it doable with either PVA or Super Glue? Are they as adhesive on plastic as Plastic Glue and will Super Glue's use on plastic have any reverse effects? I only use PVA for the basing of plastic models but the areas that need to be glued together in the Ent are much larger. Thanks for your time. |

You can use super glue, it won't make your seams as clean, but as the Plastic ent has large seams anyway. . . it should matter that much. Plastic glue's benefit over super glue is that is melts and bonds the two pieces together. Super glue will not do this. |

PVA is good for a lot of things, but it takes too long to dry for use on the minis proper. And I'm not sure that it would be able to hold up to any kind of weight if the parts you're gluing aren't small. |
