Maybe Azog will come out at the same time as the closet mini.

No. If anyone knew, it would be in any of the Hobbit release threads. Most likely it will be featured in any of the new releases. |

Apparently Peter Jakson didn't bother informing the toy manufacturers that Azog will be the main villain in the trilogy and all thought Bolg would be so everybody made action figures of Bolg(from action figures to LEGO manufacturers) I suppose every toy manufacturer now is running trying to "correct that error". |

Azog: "Guys, I have a confession. I'm... A MINIATURE!" Everyone else: "Uhh... Yeah dude, we know. We've known for a while now. It's cool."  I really don't know what the issue was between PJ, New Line, GW, Lego, Bridge Direct and all the others. Lack of communication for sure. I don't know if secrecy was a factor, but if it was then it was a lame secret. It's like staring at a Christmas present for weeks, only to open it and find a turd in a box. Azog's survival was, imo, an unnecessary and weak plot point. |

It's because Azog was added in as a big Pale Orc about 3 months before the movie was released. That was enough time to change him in the film, but not enough time to change him in the physical sets. So they just changed the packaging to read "Yazneg" instead of "Azog". So this Yazneg model we just got, is what Azog looked like last July. |
