Hey all, as the title suggests. How did you paint Bolg, pictures of the finished model would be appreciated if you had any.

When I painted Bolg, I just googled the character to get a colour reference. Also theres a pic in the main rule book. Hes not like the Orcs of the LOTR range, he looks a lot more wild and harsh. I gave him a grey drybrush all over, then highlighted the skin tones white, the bear fur was painted brown then dry brushed a dark flesh colour. The armour was tin bitz, then dry brushed a dirt colour, same for the weapon. The bone armour was drybrushed bleach bone and then white.

Here he is , haven't got around to basing him yet though, like a lot of my models lol... :roll:

Thanks! I always try to go for a grungier dirty look with my orcs, I feel it gives them realism. Especially in the heat of battle. :-)
