Hi,

So I was wondering if any one here knows any elves that would work as First Age models? I have looked all around the web, and so far the only real good ones are the Thunderbolt Mountain Elves. However they are costly and do not have much variety... Thank you in advance :)

Maybe Mantic could fill that gap for you - they are not expensive and are plastic. They certainly could be used for the main units of troops if you prefer to get your heroes or specialists from other sources:

Yes I looked I have seen the Mantic elves.... they just seem to skinny for me. You see I am looking for elves that will suitably represent the Characters of Feanor, Fingolfin, and there men.... Any way I do have Mantic down on my list of possibilities

I picked up a box of Mantic elves in my local toy shop for £4.99; it seemed rude not to exploit such a serious pricing error.

They're next on my list for backlog reduction, with cloaks added, so I'll post some pics when they're done. I'm only using the more static poses, as some of them just look ridiculous to my eyes (more like over-armoured ballet dancers than serious fighters). At £5 a box that's OK, at £15 a box that's pretty wasteful. The plus side is that they look different enough to Men for it to be clear on the table who is who.

Hey,

@Angularity, well I look forward to the pics, does anyone have any scale pic of the Bloody Day elves?
