I've been basing my Arnor army with a winter theme using the GW Dead Grass and Snow flock but I'm not sure whether it looks right. Do grass typically turn yellow (dead) during cold winters or will it remain green and (relatively) healthy? |

As a Canadian I can tell you that it turns a light browns color. |

Yes, I do with my grass if I'm not happy with it. I must admit I've only done it with grass clumps but I see no reason why you can't with static grass. Across an area you could incorporate several colours to give it a very natural feel. |
