I see some cool trolls that reaper has but are the height of their trolls on par with LOTR trolls??

The answer depends on the model.

They have made and continue to make lots of models. The troll in the photo may be available in Bones. I did not check.

Unless he was in the Bones II Kickstarter, that guy is still in metal.

Still a good bit cheaper than GW, though, and with a weapon swap would fit the aesthetic well enough.

They do do some great stuff! I recently got a counts-as Thranduil and Tauriel in Bones for less than a quater of the cost of the GW Thranduil, and at arms length on the table you'd be hard pressed to detect anything out of place.

He is indeed in the Reaper Bones 2. My order arrives Tuesday, Wednesday I think my wife files for divorce. Anyway he should be available from a Reaper retailer soon.

Awesome, cheers for the heads up. I'll look out for that, Bones is great stuff for the price!

Many figures are pictured with two triangles to the bottom right of the photo: those are 0.5" and 1" from the tabletop, giving a good impression of the total size.

If we are lucky the model in bones will have a separate head. Cheap and easy to convert.

I just bought the troll in Oldmanwillow's picture for 15 bucks. Going to make a sweet Troll Chieftan or just mordor troll.
