Well, I'm back again. I haven't done this point level before so maybe you guys could give some advice.

Elven Kingdoms (yes, I know they suck)

Epic Heroes:
Gil-galad-300 points

Common Formations:
High elf archer regiment, 3 companies-180 points
High elf archer regiment, 2 companies- 120 points

Legendary Formations:
Rivendell Guard, 6 companies- 515 points (Gil-galad here)

Allies from Gondor and Arnor:

Epic Heroes:
Isildur-85 points

Common Formations:
Numenorean Regiment, 4 companies-100 points
Swan Knights of Dol Amoroth, 3 companies, banner-185 points

Total: 1485 points, 5 formations, 18 companies, 12 might

I'll be relying a lot on the Rivendell Guard as the hard-core center of my army. The archers will cover the flanks and the Gondorian formations will be in there for support.

I thought you hated Gil-galad? Also, you're seriously lacking formations. Five formations at 1500pts, even for Elves, is hopeless. So, I'd drop a company from the Rivendell Guard, and swap Gil-galad for a cheaper Hero (probably Elrond, or, if you don't mind dropping the theme, Celeborn and Galadriel. You'll then have enough to get two or three more companies of High Elves.

I didn't say I hated Gil-galad, I just said that he's often not worth his points but in this case it's ok. BTW, I've fought with elves at 1,000 points and had only 3 formations and got a major victory so I don't think that will be much of an issue.
