Okay I'm going to a tournament in January, I wanted to get opinions on the following two lists.

Usually I take a variety of cheap support heroes, Arwen/Gildor/Mouth of Sauron/Shamans.

But I've decided to switch gear to power house heroes. I recently took Elendil and Gil-galad to another tourny and they did wonderfully to the point I didn't drop a single game. So I figured I'd take an all Numenorean army.

Here's the List

Elendil with Shield
Isildur with Horse & shield
1 Warrior of Númenor with Banner
13 Warrior of Númenor with Bow
16 Warrior of Númenor with Shield and Spear
10 Warrior of Númenor with Shield

42 models, 6 Might


My other option is an Evil list, I got the idea from WotR. It's a Burdur army. I have no idea how it will go but it does have 3 trolls and a Chieftain. I know courage tests are going to be the big problem and i understand that it's all reliant on whether Burdur can survive or not.

The spider queen is much more competitive than a warg chieftan, as for a leader for your goblins, I would swap a troll for Durburz and then get some more gobs. Numenoreans tend not to do so well by themselves due to their tactical inflexibility but allying them in to some elves would be a better bet tbh.

Going with what Spuds said, how about dropping Isildur and the banner and allying in some Knights of Minas Tirith?

Can't Minas Tirith isn't an option to ally across for Army of the High King. Sucks I know would like more cav.
