Have been toying with a few lists to get me excited about painting and back into SBG.
Now, as a caveat, I do not want this list to be super competitive. In the wrong hands, Ranger armies can be no fun at all, and this is never my intention. So jab away.

So, without further ado, list so far is:
Wanderers in the Wild:
Gildor Inglorion
Murin and Drar

The Fellowship:
Gimli

The Grey Company
4 Rangers of the North
1 Dunedain
16 Rangers (12 with Spears)
Which amounts to exactly 600 pts! I think the list will be fun to play, having played similar lists with other hero combos.

The only thing I'd say is hero-heavy, but I've never played a good army.

My first reaction was "meh", but on second thoughts it might be quite interesting. It's a pretty unsual list, so it's hard to judge,

I respect your intent to not make an uber-competitive GC army, but no need to go suicidal :) That is very hero heavy and a very low model count. You have 25 people in 600 points, any decent evil army will outnumber you over 2:1, maybe even close to 3:1, and have some heavy hitters to boot. 600 points is also a sweet spot for evil hordes: consider that it's 360 points for 72 goblins, which leaves 240 for 3 major heroes or monsters. You won't be able to shoot them fast enough. So you'd be better off playing 500 or 700 point games.

If you don't want to overplay GC, consider allying them with another army like Rohan or Gondor. Those armies provide the front-line troops and no bows, and GC provides the bows. Might be a bit more balanced approach.

I like hero heavy lists but the problem with them is that compromise between a proper army and an all hero force does not work. 25 models is too many for a hero heavy force, they only have to kill 13 defence 4 models then you are broken, once you are broken your heroes may need to use their might and will to pass courage tests, which could turn into a wraiths playtoy. So you'd be better off swapping the warriors for heroes or swapping some heroes for more warriors.

You could have 8 rangers of the north, 40 rangers and glorfindel in 600pts, that would be an army which has respectable numbers but also has tons of might and a very powerful hero, the list would not break easily so glorfindel could really go to town on the enemy with no risk of scurrying away. On the other hand you could have Aragorn, Arathorn, Legolas, Gimli, The twins and have 30 points worth of equipment to give them. This list would work on a different level, in that every model would do alot of killing and it would take a very long time to break due to high stats and fate points.

However if you were to take a list somewhere inbetween the two, it would not work due to the fact the army would break very early on (which often means the end of many scenarios) and as has been said earlier heroes would be struggling with courage.

Hey all, I really appreciate all of your feedback, in particular regarding Hero heavy lists. I have come to the conclusion that as much as I would love to be able to field this list at an upcoming event in September, it would require me to buy more stuff than I am really comfortable with at the moment. I have decided to pursue another list, probably Harad or something. Should I start another thread entirely or just ask a mod to change the thread title to "Cirion's Army Help Thread"?

I'd probably recommend creating a new thread. It doesn't take up the moderators time and if you aren't using Grey Company anymore then you should just start a new one.
