Are the Dunedain worth taking? I heard they're good for filling up a stray 25 pts, and my local store has a box of 9 Rangers with Gildor. Should I get it?

Rangers and Dunedain differ in their armour. I wouldn't bother with the Gildor box unless you plan on building up a Grey Company army, because you'll probably never need more than a couple of them.

If its metal, I would get it. I don't think that box is widely available anymore - you have to buy the models in seperate blisters. And they are very nice models (except for the ones with spears IMO).

Personally I say buy them, they look good.
But as Whafrog already said, you won't need more then a couple of them.
The box set is quite a bargain I think, it isn't available to order now.

An extra point of might and an extra bow for only 25 points is a pretty good deal. Do you need 9? Only if you're gonna start a Grey Company army, but if it's cheaper than getting 9 of them and Gildor on their own, go for it.
