Wht do you guys think of a dunedain army? Heres what I was thinking 12 dunedain 1 Aragorn Isuldurs Heir 500 pts. |

If you're going for pure Dunedain, I'd ally in Aragorn, Strider instead as he's cheaper. As for using Aragorn in 500pts, I wouldn't recommend it. If you want an all Dunedain force, I'd go with something like this. Warband 1 8/12 Halbarad Dúnadan 8 Ranger of Arnor with Spear; ---- Warband 2 0/0 Ranger of the North with Spear; Horse; ---- Warband 3 0/0 Ranger of the North with Spear; Horse; ---- Warband 4 0/0 Ranger of the North with Spear; Horse; ---- Warband 5 9/12 Elladan and Elrohir with Elven cloak; 8 Ranger of Arnor with Spear; ---- Warband 6 0/0 Ranger of the North with Spear; Horse; ---- 23 units, 21 bows, 13 might. You have a decent store of might, and then 4 elite cavalry units. Everybody has a spear because in such a small force, you need to bottleneck enemies and you need every attack you can get. If the Horse Rangers are dismounted, they have spears too. |
