So I have an 800 point tourney coming up in the next 2 months and want to have my list completed with plenty of time to paint the models.

Here's what I've come up with so far...


Warband 1
Knight of umbar w. horse
6 x half trolls w. club
5 x warriors w. spear
1 x warrior w. banner + spear

Warband 2
King w. horse + lance
4 x serpent riders
8 x haradrim (4 bows, 4 spears)

Warband 3
Chieftain w. spear
6 x watchers of karna w. bow
6 x haradrim w. spear

Warband 4
Chieftain w. spear
7 x haradrim (4 bows, 3 spears)
1 x haradrim w. horn


48 models
14 bows


My worries with this list...
1. coming in at over 140 points is it to many half trolls? (I've used 4 before in a 600point and they carved up!)
2. relatively low model count for a low defense 800 point army

Strengths with this list...
1. awesome variety with troop types to counter numerous threats
2. it will look bad ass on the battlefield! lol


I'd be very keen to hear any thoughts/feedback?

I think the banner is not really needed in the half-troll unit. With spear support from the warriors, the half-trolls will get 3 dice against one enemy in base to base contact. I guess that a banner could be very useful in Abrakhan guard unit, but I see you don't have that one.
