I'd say Celeborn, as for me theme always goes first, but really its down to personal choice, if you're more focused in competitive gaming then choose Haldir at will, he's still a suitable leader

In my 600 point Galadhrim army, i have both Haldir and Celeborn (both fully tooled up), and i can't decide which one i should use for the army leader. Celeborn is defence 7, 3 wounds and 3 fate, however he will be in the thick of the fighting. Wheras Haldir is only defence 5, 2 wounds and 1 fate, however he has an elven cloak and i keep him at the back with my archers. I was wondering which you guys think will be the better leader, thanks in advance for all the good advice! |

Thematically speaking, I say Celeborn. He is The Lord of Lothlorien and Galadhrim, and in his profile is more suited to be a commander. Haldir is just a guardian and a captain, so it wouldn't seem right having him lead his Lord into battle. He'd be better as a secondary captain. |

From a gaming perspective I'd say Haldir so Celeborn can be unhindered |

Celeborn is much better as he can kill, tank damage and shield when in dire straits. |
