This is my first attempt at a semi competitive army list for Hobbit SBG. I have just played a single game at 250 points and I really don't know yet what works and what doesn't. I would really appreciate all and any help I can get!

I will be fighting against Mordor. My theme was first "the elven kings", but I dont have elrond on horse yet, so I was thinking about Glorfindel. Does this look any good? My main concern is should I swap thranduil with Legolas for more shots?

Before ANYTHING, I cannot stress to you in human words how vital Thranduil is to any elf army.

Hes one of the most powerful units in the game if used correctly. Aura of Dismay is awesome, and although Ive had issues with the success of natures wrath, I dont think anyone it happens to will say it didnt bother them at all lol.


Your army looks great man. I dont have any realy changes. Glorifindel is great, and your troop choices are good for a beginner. Suprisingly good. Test it and keep working.

Dont forget, when you shield with elves, you get an extra roll, and 2 attacks with a fight 5 elf is often too much for mordor to beat or tie.

Shield when you need to, or regroup, and use that in conjunction with Aura of Dismay and Natures Wrath. Keep Thranduil protected!
