Do you think this army could work?

Angbor
12 Warriors of the Dead with shields

Halbarad with horse
11 Rangers of Anor with spears

3 x Ranger of the North with spears

499 points; 28 models; 8 mights; 15 bows

No great heros, but 28 models doesn't seem that bad with F4, D8 and terror. I think it is worth a test! And by the way, the theme is really cool!

I actually really like this army list, you have a strong front line and a nice amount of archery as well as lots of might.

Halbarad can cause some trouble with his horse and act as a more fighty hero, while Angbor can help keep your troops around after you break while leading from the front.
The more I think about this army the more I like it, definitely give it a run through and let us know how it goes!!

Be prepared to whip some evil armies. They'll struggle against your front line, Elves however should terrify you lol. Because this list is everything they're good against

Elves don't have S4 so they will wound on 6/4+

but yes I have a greater advantage over armies with lower courage.

Elves do have Elven blades meaning they need 5/3 if they 2h. They also have superior FV and can match your numbers with you bringing so many AOTD

which elf use the 2 handed in a 1v1 vs another midel anyway? you get a -1 to win the fight and defence 8 is still pretty hard to break...and regardless the dead will not wound elves on 4+ but rather on 5s... diference aint that bad anyway...

random elf need 6/4+ to wound a defence 8 guy since as self experience I hardly see galadhrim getting messed up with2 handed weapons even having high fight value, its not the fight that matters, its how well you roll, and if you get a -1 to roll to win, things gonna go bad for frail galadhrim...

Against wood elves, army of the death struggle more vs a bit cheaper elves, seems like uruks fighting dwarves with shield.
If its against galadhrim? its literally as the elves feeling fighting uruk hai, but uruks with dwarf endurance lol

Ps* elves blades for wood elves are purchase upgrade, for galadhrim its not but we see galahdriim more worried with shields rather than having a tailoring elven army to fight the dead..
