So I am trying to brake my adiction to the men of Numenor, and whilst my easterlings are coming along, I was thinking of maybe trying an Arnor force and some of the options of the third age :P

Saruman the white, leader
150pts
Arwen
12 High elves: 3 with elven blades, 4 with elven bows, 5 with shields and spears
189pts

Captain of Arnor with shield
12 Warriors of Arnor
151pts
The idea would be use the warriors of Arnor either as a screen for the elves or as a body guard of sorts for Saruman. An idea could be to swap Saruman for Beregond with a bolt thrower and 5 guard of the fountain court with sheilds. opinions and advice?

I would suggest to mount Saruman if you absolutely need to use him. Without speed he will be fragile and you have low numbers to protect him, even if you have quality warriors. Evil player will encircle you easily. But if he would be fast and flexible, he can be here and there to weaken enemies for every round.

I'd drop the spear and give him the horse, or maybe give it to awren.

Saruman definitely needs a horse. If you're playing a scenario where warbands enter separately and may not deploy together, you're going to need him to get to his allies/away from his enemies ASAP. A horse for Arwen is pretty important too, you want her to be getting more than one attack, and it would make it much easier for her to get in to a good spot for nature's wrath too.
