Hi guys here is a 500pt Moria list i whipped up, what do you think

Durburz (leader)

5 blackshields

5 gobs with spear

cave troll

warg marauder

warband 2

goblin shaman

with the same

warband 3

Gollum

500 on the dot, 28 models, 14 break point, 5 might

It's a bit small in number for a Moria army IMO. You do have good punch but your numbers will deplete far too easily, your army is too low with courage for that.

If you want to keep the strong units add in a bat swarm as opposed to the second Marauder imo, it'll make the cave trolls unbeatable as opponents can never top their F6 with the bats halving it

14 model break with Goblins is very low, but I guess the Stand Fast + Fury combination will keep them in order, though you may want to consider adding Gobrolg (I don't remember how it is spelled, sorry) to "channel" the fury while keeping the shaman's might. With only 28 models, you'll need both someone to keep in them in line and someone to keep them alive. Also, he's got one more might than Gollum, which doesn't hurt. I don't remember exactly how much points is worth, so I can't tell what else (besides gollum) has to be dropped.

@ JamesR yeah i was thinking of swapping in a bat swarm earlier today and i think thats the way to go

on the subject of numbers could someone give an example of a list with numbers and a similar punch

@Dikey I don't really want to use groblog as i don't have the model and it's quite rare also Gollum has his uses :twisted: like taking down heroes with the precious :gollum: LOL

My current 500pt moria is:

Groblog
6 Blackshields (3 spear)
4 Goblins (2 spear, 2 shield)

Shaman
12 Goblins (6 Shield, 6 Spear)

Shaman
8 Goblins w/ bow

Cave Drake

Worked really well the other day, Cave drake ate Dain and the bows took a wound of Durin.
