I want to have what you call a complete Isengaurd army meaning. I want complete collection of the Isenguard units. What and how many of each unit do you think I need to do this. Oh and I do go by hobbit rules so I do use war bands.

Well, 'complete' is hard to define, but these models will give you enough variety to play in pretty much any style (apart from lists all skewed towards a single unit) at 500-750 point games.

3 Warbands of Warriors, with enough Pikes that you can do a 4:8 sword:pike block or a 6:6 shieldwall

2 Warbands of Scouts

2 Warbands of Warg Riders

2 Warbands of Crossbows

2-3 Warbads of Orcs (often overlooked in an Isengard list)

1 Warband of Beserkers

1 Warband of Ferals

1 or 2 Trolls

All the named characters and half a dozen Captains or Shamans

I'm possibly overdoing it a bit, but that would give you pretty much any variation you care to play.

Ah, knew I'd forgotten something! I'd say 1-2 Warbands of them and Thydran should cover it.

Also do you consider a warband of wargs 6 or 12

I tend to think 6 for Cav Warbands, any more than that and Heroic Moves/Stand Fasts become hard to get maximum effect from.

Shamans on Wargs are quite nice, able to take their Fury bubble where you need it at any given time.

Not in an Isengard army they're not. Their Fury doesn't work on Uruks.

Doesn't it? What have I missed? Does Fury only affect the Caster's own race? (which would make perfect sense, I just don't recall seeing it)

With the exception of the Easterling War Priest who's Fury affects everything in the same army list and Druzhag's Bestial Fury, yes, Fury does only affect models the same race as the Caster, as it says in the rulebook on page 79.

This magical power affects the caster and all friendly models of the same race within 6" of him.

Forget Dunlanding, unless you want them for collecting. Perhaps if Theme compels you to use Thryden only with Dunlending--but for playing, they are some of the weakest in the game for their points. Still in stock at GW because no one buys them, and they are so easily substituted by Vikings in other, much less expensive lines.

Consider a drummer: makes your Mauraders go further than horses.
Thrydan: great rule, if he can win with that low fight--now equal to most ordinary good warriors...and very few evil F5 spears to back him up: Harad King. Any others in the game?
Crossbows: fun...but immobile, and very little to fire at once the shield wall meets--which is fast, in the warband rules--unless you hang back and barricade, which few tournement scenarios allow. Can defend domination points well...and scare Fell Beasts.

Stick to shields, pikes and those heavy heroes, and you can field 52 units for 700 points...
Or Saruman Mounted, 12 Beserkers and cheap heroes for that...

I liked Ferals until I learned they die twice as fast as their Defense 6 buddies (literally double the chance for a wounding when S3 needs 5+ instead of 6+)

you've got Lonely Knights most excellent Armybuilder software (free at http://www.lonelyknight.0fees.net/ ). Play around on it then come back here for insights on specific, competetive lists. Enjoy!
