I'm struggling to come up with an army... I have been collecting for a while now and I have won loads of 1k point games but I would love some advice and Ideas for a new army list for a 1k point battle good + evil. I am going to play against, probably beorn, radagast on a sled and dwarves when I am evil I am playing moria, goblin town and azorgs hunters, led by azorg. There might also be a few mordor orcs. My figures. GOOD Gil-Galad Elrond Erestore Glorfindel High elf captain with shield 1x high elf banner. 11× high elf archers 25 × high elf swordsmen 1× high elf spearmen Galadriel 12x galadrim 4x swords, shields and spears 12x woodelves with the same Islidur Elendil Captain of numenor with shield 36x warriors of numenor with shields 3× warriors of numenor with spears King of the dead 12× warriors of the dead (not specified) Thoden and on horse Gamling (no banner) Eyown 8x rohan archers 8x rohan warriors with throwing spears and shields 8× rohan warriors with swords and shields The fellowship EVIL knight of umbar and on horse the betrayer and on horse Harad captain with spear 6x haradrim with archers 6x haradrim with spears 1x mumak of harad 8× corsiars with spears 8× corsiars with bows 8× corsiars with shields Saruman Lurtz Ugluk 3x urakia captains with shields 2× beserkers 11x urakia scouts with shields 1x urakia warriors with spear Gollum Gorbag Grisnak 2x mordor urakia captains Witch king of angmar 1x troll 36x mordor orcs 2x two handed mordor urakia |

I will gladly take a look at writing a couple of 1k lists when I get a chance, not always around my books unfortunately. Not normally a player of larger games so it should be a fun write with the options. |

Azog can be dangerous against big heroes. In fact so can bat swarms. |

If doing wraiths use knight of Umbar instead of Betrayer. When using the mumak make sure you are careful about adding up points. Always make sure you have sufficient numbers. |

Potential 1000pts good: Warband 1 – Gil-Galad, shield - 6 kings guard, elven blades - 1 kings guard, spear and shield - 4 elf warriors, bows - 1 Kings guard, banner Warband 2 – Elrond - 8 elf warriors, elven blades - 4 elf warriors, bows Warband 3 Elendil, shield - 6 Warriors of Numenor, Shields - 3 warriors of Numenor, spears and shields Warband 4 Legolas, Armour, elven cloak - 5 Galadhrim, shields and spears ==997pts will say you need more cav, spears and bows for most of your armies, for choice. Especially bows for elves. |
